Scheme of Advancement:

Scout/Guide Section-

Boys/Girls between Ten to Seventeen * years of age

• If a Guide continues to be in the school be allowed to remain in the unit till she is 18 years of age.
• If a Scout continues to be in the School he should be allowed to remain in the unit till he completes 18 years of age.

Having worked for at least three months and attended four Troop/Company Meetings a Scout/Guide Aspirant can be invested as a Scout/Guide on completion of Pravesh Test.

A Pravesh Scout/Guide will work at least for six months to qualify for Pratham Sopan.

A Pratham Sopan Scout/Guide will work at least for six months to qualify for Dwitiya Sopan.

A Dwitiya Sopan Scout/Guide will work at least for six months to qualify for Tritiya Sopan.

A Tritiya Sopan Scout/Guide will work at least for nine months to qualify for Rajya Puraskar Award.

A Rajya Puraskar Scout/Guide will work at least for twelve months to qualify for Rashtrapati Scout/Guide Award.

Activities:

• Adventure Activities, Coastal Trekking, Desert Trekking, Himalayan Trekking, Skating Tour, Water Activities, Nature Study Camp, Patrol Leaders Jamborette, Youth forum, Skill Development Programmes, Patrol Leaders Training Programme, National Integration Programme, Inter-state Cultural exchange programme etc., are organized at Regional and National level.
• Training programmes on First-aid, Map Reading, Star gazing, Disaster Preparedness, and Vocational Training Courses are organized.
• Awareness activities on Peace and Harmony, AIDS/HIV, Anti-Tobacco, Anti –Drug are conducted.
• Jamboree on the Air and Jamboree on the Internet are held every year.
