State Camping Centre Situated at Bopalpani Village in Raipur Block in Dehradun District of Uttarakhand State, sits beautiful region in the foothills, Forest, waterfall, embellished by nature and animal & is sure to make you feel calm by natural habitat.
It is located 11 km. (approx.) towards East from District head quarters Dehradun. 10 km. (approx.) from State capital Dehradun.
State Camping Centre, Bhopal Pani is surrounded by Dehradun Block towards west , Doiwala Block towards South , Mussoorie Block towards North ,Sahaspur Block towards west.
A variety of camping activities take place which include Adventure, Workshop, Meetings, Training Activities, Trekking, Testing Camps etc. Young people visit the State Training Centre, thus ensuring a unique friendly atmosphere.
Basic Facilities
- Water- Water arrangements facility in S.T.C is very good. The S.T.C. has adequate amount of water & ground water also.
- Transport- The S.T.C. at the Centre have been equipped with 1 Jeep & 1 Bus for special events/camps
- Mess/Kitchen- There is a mess/Kitchen in the camping site which is being to cater to the needs of the participants of all events, visitors, guests etc as per the requirements.
- Electricity- The electricity arrangements at the S.T.C is good & have been equipped with a generator in difficult time for essential need of lights.
Accomodation
- There has been total 100 number of participants facility for staying in the overnight camp at the S.T.C.
- The medium of accommodation of participants is totally Tent based.
- There has been total 200 number of participants facility to conduct day conference/ meetings/Workshop.
- There has been total 1000 number of participants facility for amalgamation in the open area.
